Modal is a family plumbing business, founded by an immigrant engineer from Iran. Upon arriving in Vancouver in 2005, Hamid discovered a new-found passion for plumbing. After years of cultural adaptation, breaking of language barriers, and thorough education and experience in the field of plumbing, Modal was born. A few years later, after graduating with an engineering degree from McGill University, Hamid’s son joins Modal to fulfill the role of a business manager and lead the expansion of the company. Now, operating as a family business, Modal is filled with passion and on a mission to increase the standards of quality for plumbing services. Hamid continues to be the lead plumbing supervisor to ensure that the performance and result of all projects exceed our customer’s expectations.
